Network Extension

In 2023, 113 solar masts were installed in 8 zones of Libreville (Bikele, CICIBA, Agondje, Génie Agri, Prison centrale, Gouvernorat, Hôpital Nkembo, Agondjé stade). These installations use Novea and Sunna technologies, creating new lighting zones in sectors not covered by the conventional network.

Energy Transition

CNEE aims for progressive modernization of its infrastructure through installation of LED lamps, recognized for their energy performance, durability and ability to improve light intensity while reducing electricity consumption. The strategy also plans a progressive transition from conventional network to a solar network in the interior of the country.

Present Throughout Gabon

From Libreville to Franceville, our teams ensure public lighting across the entire territory.

Displayed indicator: 2023 municipal consumption (electricity + water) as reported in RA2023. This is spending for municipal/services (including public lighting and fountains) tracked by CNEE. A higher total reflects greater needs/activities or a larger perimeter; it does not measure household consumption.
