This policy explains how CNEE collects, uses and secures personal information processed through its online services.
General principles
The National Council for Water and Electricity (CNEE) ensures the protection of the personal data collected through its digital services. Each processing operation is based on public interest or the explicit consent of users and complies with Gabonese regulations.
Data collected
- Request forms (intervention, reporting, information): identity, contact details, incident location and description provided by the user.
- Application form: professional information, academic background, attachments (resume, internship agreement).
- Contact form: name, email address, phone number and message.
Purposes
Data is used to process user requests (intervention follow-up, incident analysis, responses to questions, management of applications) and to improve the quality of the public service provided by CNEE.
Retention periods
Data is retained only for the time strictly necessary to process the request, then archived in accordance with the rules applicable to Gabonese public bodies. Résumés and applications are kept for a maximum of 24 months.
Security
CNEE implements technical and organizational measures to secure information (access control, regular backups, encryption of sensitive transfers). Technical providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
User rights
- Access request: know which data is held about you.
- Rectification request: correct or update your information.
- Deletion or objection request: where permitted by law, request deletion or object to processing.
