Our Daily Commitment
In 2023, CNEE launched a road signaling modernization campaign, targeting 26 strategic intersections in Greater Libreville. This operation includes upgrading old signaling devices and progressively installing new electronic controllers, more reliable and adapted to current needs.
The interventions aim to improve traffic flow and enhance road safety, both for motorists and pedestrians, at the busiest intersections. 23 intersections in Libreville and 3 in Owendo were modernized.
The CHUL-Mosquée intersection, which was previously managed by a single controller, was split into two distinct entities, each now equipped with its own traffic light panel.
